Our story begins with Jas Laurance, our Founder + Design Director. Jas' career spans 30 years within the design industry, encompassing extensive experience redesigning and renovating properties; assisting homeowners to develop their own concept designs for residential renovations so they can gather quotes and take the first step; in addition to time working within an award winning architecture practice. She dabbles in art when time permits, particularly painting, ceramics and photography, and has had her various works in independent art galleries, shops and media.
In addition to studying Economics & Finance at Curtin University in Western Australia, Jas gained a multi-award winning undergraduate degree from the University of Melbourne's School of Design whist taking a career break to raise her three young daughters. She majored in Architecture, graduated within the top 3% of the Bachelor of Design / Environments cohort, and further cemented her commitment to placing people -their needs and wellbeing- at the heart of design.
